The 8year old BANYAN TREE,"DESSIN SCHOOL OF ARTS", is a full fledged art source with 27 bran- ches and 700 students.It is run under the guidance of its Founder Mr.R.Rajendran MFA(Govt. College of Fine Arts) and dedicated group of teachers.We call the institution an art source because everything related to art education and related needs are taken care .It caters to students from the age groups of 3+ to 60+ olds.We are back with the 4rd exhibition of our STALWARTS colourful productions for the academic year 2011-12. The students are divided into 5 categories, accordi! ng to the level of their courses. The details of the categories are as follows:- CRAZY CRAYONS : Basic drawings with pencil, pen and use of oil pastels. RAINBOW COLOURS : Poster colours,pencil shading ,pencil colouring, pen Shading. GENTLE WAVES : Acrylic colours and water colours. COLOURFUL CANVAS : Abstract and creative composition. RYTHMS OF COLOURS: Oil Paintings, Palet knife, and Acrylic on canves.

Neil Leslie Diamond (born Jan. 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter with a career spanning over five decades from the 1960s until the present. He is considered to be the third most successful adult contemporary artist ever on the Billboard chart behind Barbra Streisand and Elton John. Diamond was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. Additionally, he received the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000 and in 2011 was an honoree at the Kennedy Center Honors. He has eight number one hit singles with "Cracklin Rosie", "Song Sung Blue", "Desiree", "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", "Love On The Rocks", "America", "Yesterday's Songs", and "Heartlight". In August 2008, Diamond allowed cameras to record his entire four-night run at New York's Madison Square Garden and released it in the United States on! August 14, 2009, on DVD, one year to the day of the first concert. 'Hot August Night/NYC' debuted at No. 2 on the charts and is exclusively available at Wal-Mart and has sold out at many locations all over the country. Also on the same day the DVD was released, CBS (the former parent of his label, Columbia Records) aired an edited version of the DVD, which won the ratings hour with 13 million viewers.
