My favorite nephew in the Eusebio-Vergara line of the Eusebio clan, Ronnie just arrived for a few weeks visit in 09 and Nina and Rock Tor were gracious enough to host a dinner for him, Monique, and his two young men at their lovely home in Antipolo, Rizal. Also present were bosom cousins Jingle Agoncillo and Merit Umali and kids. Jo was with me to greet Ronnie, now a made family man and resident of Calgary, Canada. Ronnie, who was a living example of somebody who went against all odds after going to hell and back mainly because of his wife's faith in God and also in him, who through sheer determination and love for Ronnie was able to transform him from an almost psychotic demonic wreck into a kind and responsible family man. Ronnie stood his ground until Hell freezes over at his present hometown known for its heavenly sights when it's summer and spring and its super cold temperature during winter.
